A Note on Perspective

Today I wanted to bring up the concept of perspective.

Mid-week may find you chugging along through your job, trying to meet weekend dealings for school… maybe in a bit of a lull? Whatever it is that you’re dealing with, I think it is important to put things into… wait for it… Perspective!!

What difference does it make how stressed out you are with work, or how you weren’t able to go out (as much) because you had papers and tests to prepare for. Will it matter in six months from now how awesome your hair looked on Tuesday, or how maybe you weren’t feeling your best?

If you’re finding yourself going through a rough patch, put it into perspective! The great thing about rough patches is that they are temporary, and if anything, it will turn you into a strong, more experienced individual, having come out the other end with the knowledge to show for it.

If you are frolicking through a field because things are so awesome, great! But just because things are going swimmingly right now, doesn’t mean that you get to stop caring. Look to the future: Which goals can you put effort into this week? What can you do you make a better, happier, healthier, you?

Okay, enough of my soapbox. Wherever you find yourself this week, I hope you doing what makes you happy. I will leave you with one final note though: “Trust that life if giving you exactly what you need practice in”.

Until next time!

Stay Gold.

Hello there! I’m Danielle, I’m a 20 year old Nevada college student and I am here to share my world with…. YOU!

Now, I know there are a lot of blogs out there. But hear me out. I wanted to create a blog that shed light on the daily struggles and triumphs of your typical collegiate. The ups, the downs, the good, the bad, the ugly… you get the picture.

This is, for all intensive purposes, a “lifestyle blog”. Nothing is off limits. I want to talk about the balance between school, work, exercising, looking amazing, and personal life all while trying to maintain your sanity. Because, lets be honest, it is a HUGE load to carry that doesn’t always get recognition. We lead stressful lives, but I believe by reaching out, we can reach a point where we can acknowledge the small mountains we climb everyday, yet still find time to just be.

Sooo, with that being said, I am going to try and post at least once a week. This is my first official “blog” and it is not going to be perfect right away. But hey, everything is a work in progress, right? Talk to you soon!
